Strategy Plan creation / update

According to the perspective of the Balanced Scorecard objective system “A strategic plan is a document that is used to communicate to the organization the objectives of the organization, the actions necessary to achieve those objectives and all other critical elements developed during the planning exercise. “

The 3 fundamental pillars of the Strategic Plan are: understanding the current situation, projecting where we want to be in the future (5-10 years), and finally defining the way forward to achieve it.

In order to understand the current situation, we will do an exhaustive, SWOT Analysis, based on internal analysis (Value Chain) and external analysis (PESTLE + PORTER Analysis).

To project where we want to be in 5/10 years, we will establish the VISION, MISSION and VALUES of the company, normally influenced by the shareholders and the previously established SWOT analysis.

To define the way forward that allows the company to transform Ideas (Vision and Mission) into facts in the estimated period, we will prepare a Roadmap with the main milestones to be achieved (Strategic Objectives) and a Strategic Map that will converge the definition of the KSF (Key Success Factors / Critical Success Factors) with the 4 perspectives of the BSC (Balanced Scorecard): Customer Perspective, Financial Perspective, Operations Perspective and Team Learning and Innovation Perspective.

To ensure compliance with the strategy, taking into account the dynamism and complexity of the environment and internal relationships, we will monitor more precisely and flexibly, dividing the strategic objectives into measurable tactics that align the entire organization in a cascade through the OKRs and KPIs (see below).

OKRs-KPIs definition / implementation

One of the keys to business success lies in aligning the objectives and interests of the shareholders of a company with the objectives and interests of the entire organization (managers, heads of departments, transversal teams, staff and other agents who contribute to the corporation).

The most effective way to internally align these interests is through the OKRs (Objectives and Key Results), thanks to its simple and efficiency-focused approach. Some of its characteristics are to establish short deadlines for each objective and key result, limit the objectives in a short list for each period and have a concrete value to achieve, serving as a definite guide, not only in terms of what to do, but also which result to expect.
